Who We Are
Privacy in the Library is part of a privacy initiative by the FIMS Graduate Library at the University of Western Ontario, in alliance with the Library Freedom Project and Tor Project.
- April 11, 2017 – Our friends at Western Libraries, including MLIS student Melissa Seelye, are recognized for their hard work on a new Online Privacy research guide.
- March 22, 2017 – Our ongoing Open Source Toolbox for Info Professionals hands-on display in the FIMS Graduate Library, has been rebooted, now featuring new tools for information privacy and security
- February 3, 2017 – Our work on information privacy, including the implementation of our Tor node ellenatfims, has led us to recieve the OLA Les Fowlie Intellectual Freedom award.
